He commanded that the furnace be heated seven times hotter than usual” Daniel 3:19 NLT God made sure it was heated 7 times, not any other number. It is the number of God but Nebuchadnezzar (who was an authority figure) did not have a revelation of number 7. He was so shocked seeing what God did because of His servants and His number of perfection • Punishment for disobedience was 7 times over for the sins (Leviticus 26:18) • Naaman was to wash in Jordan for 7 times and he was healed (2 Kings 5:10,14) • When the Shunammite’s son resurrected from the dead, he sneezed 7 times and was restored back to life (2 Kings 4:35) • “The LORD will conquer your enemies when they attack you.
