TODAY (Thurs 21st Aug) WILDWOOD BIOBLITZ The sun is shining at Wildwood and weve got an action packed day of FREE* fun and educational activities for the whole family. The race is on to discover what lives in our woods... 10am - Rodents 10:30am - Moths 11am - Reptiles 11:30am - Spiders 12:30pm - Butterflies 1pm - Worms 1:30pm - Birds 2pm - Trees Meet in the outdoor classroom (by the picnic area) PLUS Bug Hunting - 11am - 1pm Use pooters and sieves to uncover the amazing variety of life in leaf litter. (between the lynx and playground) Bird Flight Displays! 12pm & 2pm See our stunning birds of prey in flight training daily (weather permitting). Next to ravens. Pond Dipping - 1pm - 3pm Keep your eyes peeled and prepare to find what tiny life hides in murky water. (near the pine martens) *Free event, drop in any time. Please note that Wildwood membership or entry fees must be paid to attend this event.
