TODAY is the anniversary of the United States Air Force. The Air Force was taken from the Armys Air Corps and made separate to complement our ground and sea forces. There was no temptation, however, to make it superior to the Army, Navy or any of our other branches. We perform a distinctive mission -- superiority over air, space and cyberspace -- and we do it pretty darn well -- in a LARGE PART to the men and women working here at Arnold and our sister testing Complexes.
