TODAYS FRESH BREAD (GRACE BRINGS ETERNAL LIFE) Romans 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. Beloved, we are still on this series trying to decode Romans 6:1-2. Previously, we have seen what causes sin to increase. The Bible tells us plainly that, the Law causes sin to increase. That might sound different from what you often hear. The devil is working tirelessly making the church believe that it is the preaching of pure and hyper grace that give people the desire to sin. But the Bible clearly says the opposite. Law make people sin, Grace gives freedom from sin. The above scripture is really an awesome one. By one mans offence, sin entered the world and brought forth death. Death ruled over all, even those who did not sin after the same manner as Adam. Now this scripture is not about our individual sins. It is about the one sin of the first Adam that brought death unto all men. In Romans 5, Apostle Paul brings the contrast between the first Adam and the last Adam (Christ Jesus). The first Adam sinned and through sin, death came upon all. Sin reigned unto death. But just as sin has reigned unto death, Grace has a much more glorious work to do in you. As sin ruled and produced death, Grace now reigns and produces eternal life by Christ Jesus. Eternal life is in Grace. The more you embrace the pure hyper grace of God, the more you see how beautiful Christ is and the more you walk in life full of the Christ-life. Sin produces death. Grace produces life. Grace reigns through justification (righteousness) unto eternal life by Christ Jesus. Not our own righteousness. But the kind of righteousness that comes as a gift. Through the gift of righteousness, Grace reigns in us and produces a never ending supply of eternal life by Christ Jesus. As we continue to see Christ Jesus in His graciousness, we keep enjoying this life right on earth here. The gift of righteousness is received by faith. The Bible says, Jesus became sin so that you will become Gods righteousness in Him. The question is, Do you believe?..... God bless you
