TODAYS FRESH BREAD (GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISE) 2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. Dearly beloved, for the past few days, we looked at the third verse of this scripture, where we are assured that, Gods divine power has given unto us all things that pertain to life and godliness. There is nothing left which you will need that God has not given to you. He is the only God who gives and before you could do anything to show your gratitude and faithfulness, He gives again and again and again. He never gets tired blessing His children over and over again. And He has called you to glory, to honor you with the honor of Christ and to virtue, that you will be the eternal excellence of God in Christ. Peter continues to encourage us that, it is by this calling by which Christ has called us, that we have been given exceedingly great and precious promises. Whatever your Heavenly Father has promised you in His word is part of what will bring into manifestation His glory and virtue in you. God is so much concerned with His glory flowing through you. He is so much concerned with making you the most honorable person that ever lived. That is why He wants to honor you with the same honor that is on Christ Jesus. This is not because of anything you ever did or anything you are doing. But its all because of His unconditional love for you and Christs perfect sacrifice for you. How sure am I that God has honored you with the same glory and honor of Christ and has made you excellent with the same excellence of Christ? The word of God tells us in 1John 4:17 that, Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. That is how God has made you. That is how He sees you now. Just as Jesus Christ is in the sight of God, so are you in His sight. He doesnt see Jesus Christ as more glorious than you. As Christ is, so are you. He doesnt see Him as more excellent than you. As Christ is, so are you. This is because of Christs perfect sacrifice for you. Beloved in Christ, the question is, how do you see Christ Jesus now? Do you see Him as full of Grace, righteousness, power, glory, honor, excellence and every good trait you know? The Bible assures you that, as He is, so has He made you in Him. I love how the Amplified Bible puts this, For as many as are the promises of God, they all find their Yes [answer] in Him [Christ]. For this reason we also utter the Amen (so be it) to God through Him [in His Person and by His agency] to the glory of God (2 Corinthians 1:20). In Christ you have received exceeding great and precious promise. As you know Him more and more, these promises manifest more and more..... Good Morning
