TODAYS RANT! To all my Facebook fiends. Maybe Im being petty, but Im old and, frankly, I dont care. Dont judge me, man. Why cant people who shop at department and grocery stores put their carts up when finished loading their vehicles? Is their life so full of things to do that they cant scrape the additional 60 to 120 seconds together to put their shopping carts in the spaces provided by the stores? Is it their way of saying to the shoppers just arriving, Here, Im waaay too important for this, you put it away. Who are these dip-brains? I think President Obama should sign an executive order (if he has any ink left in his pen) demanding Shopping Cart Etiquette Inequality stop now! How come some people feel they can abandon their shopping carts where they want and others who play by the rules and deserve a fair shake have to pick up the slack? Whats the deal? This is fair? Its so bad, sometimes, that when I go inside to get a shopping cart, there arent any. Why? Because their all being used and the remaining carts are scattered all over the parking lot. This is irritating and it causes me to suffer Shopping Cart Insecurity. Nine times out of ten, the carts are left in empty parking spaces or between two parked cars. Ive even seen, a few times, an abandoned shopping cart, or two, rolling aimlessly between an aisle of cars, apparently lost or confused. You just knew the cart was going to hit a parked car and ruin someones day. I guess Id call these people who abandon their carts in the parking lot other than where the cart is supposed to go self-inflated squid-brains who believe 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, its all about them.
