POCKET WORD: The life and choice of the Blessed Virgin Mary is characterized with humility. Mary was from a very humble background but God brought something great from that place. Mary had every opportunity to be proud and arrogant because of the favor she received from God as mother of God but she became humble the more. From our Mother Mary, we need to learn the virtue of humility in all that we do. From her also we need to learn how to handle Gods blessings and favors with humility. How do we feel when we have new appointments and promotion? Do we become proud and see others whom we struggle with as worthless or we become humble. Mary had every opportunity to make the women of her time to idolize her but remained calm and humble; a great lesson for us today. Humility is a very strong weapon we can use to defeat the devil. Mary Mother of God pray for us...
