TODAYs PRAYER IS FOR A NEW START God, Our Father We need a fresh start. We need a new start. Our country is in turmoil. We are ranting about our leaders and the laws they pass. We are debating issues in wrong ways. We are calling people names. Our leaders are failing us. We people seem to have no recourse Thus, what are we accomplishing. We need you. We need to seek You. We need to live You. We need to breathe You. Oh, God, Lift us out of this much and mire. Draw us to You. Help us to see You. We need to Seek first Your Kingdom. Seek first Your Righteousness. We need to put away worldly things that keep us from You. We are lost, so lost, God. We are wandering around in some worldly desert, Looking in all the wrong places. Seeking all the wrong things. God, dont let us drown in our confusion. God, still the waters of our hearts. God, calm the turmoil in our minds. God, You are who we need. God, give us a fresh start. God, give us a new start. Amen.
