TODAY’S FRESH BREAD (BECAUSE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS) Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. This is one of the commonest quoted scriptures among others like John 3:16 and 1John 1:9. In warfare prayer and when people feel a threat upon their lives, they often quote this scripture. But one thing is, only the first part of this scripture is often quoted which says, ‘No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn’. The second part of the scripture is often ignored, which says, ‘This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD’. Most Christians do not even know that there is a second part to this scripture. But it is this part that validates the first part often quoted; God’s righteousness. No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shalt condemn. This is possible because God sees you righteous. He sees you righteous not because you are doing things righteous or because you are very obedient. He sees you righteous because, that is what He has made you through His beloved Son; Jesus Christ. This declaration, as God says, is the inheritance of the righteous. You receive inheritance not because you work for it. You receive it by position and by Grace. If you receive an inheritance because you worked for it, it becomes a payment/salary and not an inheritance/gift. This is your inheritance because you are in Christ and He has made you the righteousness of God in Him. Tell yourself, “NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER; AND EVERY TONGUE THAT RISES AGAINST ME IN JUDGMENT I CONDEMN BECAUSE I AM THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS…… Good morning
