TODAY’S MANNA. Romans 12:2. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will. ### The contemporary world is a world of imitation and competition. Everyone wants to be ahead of the other, better seen, better heard, and better recognized, whereas the Bible teaches us to consider one another better than self. In the effort to be placed above the other in name and fame, people compromise with the value and the scriptural pattern of life. As children of God, we are supposed to hold on to the values of true Christian life, by renewing of our mind, in accordance with the Scripture, in order to know and approve the Divine will and plans for us. Do not conform to the world in the mad-race to become one like worldly people, instead be steadfast in the life in Christ, because God’s plan and ways for us are good, pleasing and perfect will of God. So, let us not seek the acceptance of this world because the world that hated our Saviour, hates the born again believers too as we do not belong to the world. Chosen out of the world still placed in the world for His eternal Divine purpose.
