TODAY’S WORD: 16th July, 2013 Colossians 2:9-10 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. After every creation effort by God in the book of Genesis chapter one, God himself would always take a look at what He did and in every of such occasions, the bible says that God saw that His work was good … And God saw the light, that it was good (Genesis 1:4a), you can also see Genesis 1:10, 12, 18 & 21. But after God created man He did not just see a good thing, He saw then that everything He made was very good. But as Adam the first man sinned he lost that completeness until Christ the second Adam came. Now the bible says …if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (II Corinthians 5:17). What are we saying? If you are in Christ your completeness is settled. Everything you will ever need as a child of God is found in Christ. Is it health or wealth, is it long life or a purposeful life, all can be found in Jesus Christ our Lord. Salvation through Jesus Christ is a full package, not a single product. In that package is anything and everything one can ever ask for in life. II Peter 1:3-4; According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. Friend, you cannot add anything to Christ or Christianity because in Christ dwells ALL THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD. Anything Christ cannot give to you as a child of God, I don’t think you need such thing. You are complete in Christ. Pray with me: Father, thank you for bringing me into the glorious completeness in you, help me realize that I have no need for anything you will not give me, I pray through Jesus our Lord
