TODAY’S WORD: 2nd September, 2013 John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. The thief talked about in our text for today is satan the devil and as it is written above he has a threefold ministry of killing, stealing and destroying. The first thing that satan is after is to kill you, he wants to kill a man spiritually and even physically. In the Garden of Eden, man was meant to live forever until the devil came into the scene and introduced death in this life. This he did by causing man to sin by disobeying God. My prayer for you today is that satan’s plan to kill you both spiritually and physically will be frustrated in Jesus name. If the devil sees that he cannot kill you he resorts to stealing from you. He may want to steal your joy, your peace, your children, your business or anything that is valuable to you just in a bit to frustrate and disorganize you. But I’ve got good news for you; everything the devil has ever stolen from you will be returned to you sevenfold in Jesus name. Finally in the line of his ministry, the ultimate aim of the devil is to destroy a man. He wants to destroy his destiny here on earth and his soul in eternity. Pray with me: Father, preserve my life, I refuse to be a victim of these satanic ministries in Jesus name.
