TODAY’S WORD: 8th November, 2013 Judges 6:14 And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee? The children of Israel were labouring under oppression from the Midianites; the Midianites will allow them to sow, weed and when its harvest time they come to take their harvest from them leaving them to go home empty handed. This shall not be your portion, you will not labour to be deprived of your harvest in Jesus name. Amen. When God decided to deliver the Israelites, in our text for today He located Gideon and said to him Gideon, you will save Israel; GO IN THIS THY MIGHT. Although Gideon was unaware of the might that was in him so that he asked ``Lord, what might are you talking about’’. This did not stop the Midianites from falling by this might. For every challenge you are faced with today, there is more than enough deposit of grace and power residing in you to go through and break through it. God is saying to you go in this thy might and you will save every member of your household. Ephesians 5:20; Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. There is a power at work in us as believers in Christ. That power is able to do for us, with us and through us great and mighty deeds, it can do the unimaginable with us. Brethren, God wants to do great things in your life and family through you. From today, you will begin to witness God’s power flow through you in Jesus name. Pray with me: Father, open me up and let my hidden potential be manifested to the benefit of all in Jesus name.
