TOLERANCE IS A WAY OF PEACE God has given us (Jew and Greek) freedom through sound doctrine and culture, but the tradition and culture of man are somehow, difficult for many to do away with. Religion beliefs that are associated with threats are curable by awareness or exposure and education being tailored or nurtured by fear of God devours of sentiment or force because religion is a spinal cord of inner mind. An adage says, one can force a horse to the river, but no one can force a horse to drink water at the river bank. In the midst of violent, misunderstanding and intolerable attitude towards each other around the world, the WORD OF MOUTH is another weapon that can be applied to bring peace because there is power of life and death in the tongue and whosoever uses it wisely will reap its fruits. Knowing that whatever caused a problem should be applied to cure or remove the problem to the roots, as long as it will take to achieve desirable result. It is the duty of everyone to rechanneling the funnel of orientation of tomorrow leaders through massage of peace and love of God to all mankind. This should include what parent should be teaching their children at homes, what teachers should be teaching their wards, and what lecture / clerics should be preaching or be teaching their followers. In doing these, we must be able to offer sincere peace actions before peace can be attained. Yoruba believes that you must first pour water on the ground for you to walk on wet ground. In the same vein, Igbos equally believe that ‘he who offer cola –nut brings life. The two proportions look different but they are the same ideological sentiments which serve as backbones for peaceful coexistence of groups of people for centuries. Though there is no way anyone could have known what U. S Government has researched upon but this information on what Muslim’s teaches is 100% in agreement to what God revealed to me which was pasted on my Facebook wall in January this year titled ‘God strategizes for peaceful atmosphere between Christians and Muslims. I heard GOD voice three times asking me to ‘inform the Christians’ Leaders to tell Muslims’ Leaders to inform their Muslims’ Brothers to stop, for I AM GOD ALMIGHTY’. One of the ways to carry out this instruction is for Christians’ Leaders to liaise with and tell the Muslims’ Leaders to change their preaching and teaching on religions violent, intolerance and offensive attitude towards the Christians all over the world. We must learn to listen to one another as neighbors, for God loves everyone as a child to the father. If this is peacefully handled, the Muslims’ Leaders may equally come up with why they are unreceptive to Christians. God has declared in the Scripture, saying, ‘that which you have made up your mind to do shall not be taken away from you’. Meaning; if we sincerely agree to jointly seek peace with each other without violent anymore, it may take long, but peace will surely come, for sorrow may last till night but joy comes in the morning, says the Lord. Vengeance is wickedness but we should know that vengeance belongs to God. Retaliation is violent which lead to destruction and anarchy. When these happened, it is bloodshed and loss of lives and properties. No one actually gain but everyone a loser. This is the adamant position of violent event; mien of no winner, no surrender that lingers on, when you see a war stopped here today another one start there tomorrow should stop. Two things are required, willingness and obedience to God for us to eat the fruits, for it is said, ‘to obey is better than sacrifice’. In the past when Muslims say Islam is a religion of peace, many smell rat. But the Muslims’ mindset is beginning to change for better; many of them have come out to condemn killing, violent and terrorism as un-Islam. This development, actually, proven that intolerance may be outside Islamic doctrine, as such Christians and Muslims re-education is necessary for them to understand their limit. If anyone claims to love God let such fellow stop killing your fellow human being or stop destroying the hand work of God, human being is the image of God. The LORD said, ‘My peace I give you, and My peace I leave with you……..’ If the peace you are holding at hand is not enough, let us make use of the peace the LORD leave with us for the peace we have to be sufficient for the people around the world to experience peace and our light will shine among men. Let us approach this issue with fear of God mindset, for it is the Lord that will judge the every one according to his character and what he does to self and others. Let us not be weary in encouraging one another to be doing the righteous thing, for every work will be judged either good or bad. Hold your brief, Scriptures projects that peace will reign on earth for 1, 000 years to come, then judgment. How? Who knows you may be this peace project starting point. Be prepared; the coming of the Lord is nearer. Do not judge, for it is required of every one to seek righteousness and every other thing shall be added into it. Righteousness is the same thing with tolerance; both righteousness and tolerance are way of peace. God loves you, please love others. The grace of God is my strength.
