Fortune Favours Lost Single SoundCloud: snd.sc/10pqGLj Introducing Tom Dibb, a new singer songwriter releasing his EP ‘Lost’ on new label Little Fan Records on July 8th. The lead single and title track is an emotionally insightful account of Tom’s personal experiences as he tries to find his way in the world. Accompanying the track will be an extended 9-minute concept video available from the 30th May. Living out of his VW camper van, Tom has spent the last few years busying himself playing festivals around the country and also on the London tour circuit playing bars and acoustic nights around the city, where he was spotted by Little Fan Records and began working with them to further develop his intensely lyrical reggae and folk infused sound. Tom describes his music as ‘an expression of my experience of people, situations, places, and society’ and cites his influences as including Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Counting Crows and John Harper. The four tracks from the ‘Lost’ EP were recorded in four different major London recording studios, where Tom worked with Matt Lawrence (Mumford & Sons, Laura Marling, Patrick Wolf), Tony Platt (Bob Marley, Rolling Stones) and Oli Savill of Basement Jaxx who played percussion on Tom’s final EP track ‘Fortune Favours’. You can catch Tom and his band performing live on stage, as well as exclusive performances from Tom’s own campervan which he has nicknamed Pickle, throughout this Spring and Summer.
