TOMORROW AT 10:00am IN VENICE! Historic-Cultural Monument Status has been applied for 433 Rialto. Its a 1910 two-story craftsman on 3 lots purchased by a NY investment banker who has gotten permits to demolish it. Neighbors applied for the status and a site visit has been scheduled for tomorrow at 10 am. We were told by the Historic Commission that the more people showing up in support the better! The Historical Commission needs to get to know Venice. The more they visit Venice and shown our beautiful neighborhoods, the more they will be supportive of future applications to preserve a part of our historic heritage.
