TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 17: Employment - Education Event: Service members, veterans, family members, and DoD civilians, mark your calendars now for U.S. Army Garrison Rock Island Arsenals combined Employment and Education Event, Wednesday, Sept. 17, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in Heritage Hall, Bldg. 60. More than 40 employers and 20 academic institutions are scheduled to participate. Employers are looking for talented and experienced personnel to fill vacancies in the Quad Cities and nationwide and will be accepting resumes and conducting interviews on site. Academic institutions will be providing information on both local and on-line education programs and opportunities. Veteran Service Organizations will also be available to assist eligible personnel with services, such as resume development, as well as provide GI Bill and other VA program-related information.
