TONY MONACO on Z1035! Its PADDY no PATTY! Officially St Patricks Day is Monday March 17th but the celebrations have already begun worldwide! The Irish are just trying to drink but this PATTY vs PADDY nonsense is a constant distraction from the task at hand and that is partying! The Irish get all hot and bothered and riled up and it causes bar and clubs fights and altercations online! They are offended and to them its like nails on a chalkboard. They get angry and annoyed! They dont want to see it written or hear people in Canada or The States say St. PATTYS So let me break it down like this so there are no issues when you celebrate! According to my Irish Friends: IT’S PADDY, NOT PATTY. EVER. SAINT PATRICK’S DAY? GRAND. PADDY’S DAY? SURE, DEAD-ON. ST. PAT’S? IF YE MUST. ST. PATTY? NO, YE GOAT! Paddy is derived from the Irish, Pádraig: the source of those mysterious, emerald double-Ds. Patty is the diminutive of Patricia, or a burger, and just not something you call a fella. There isn’t a sinner in Ireland that would refer to a Patrick as “Patty”. It’s as simple as that. So when wishing people here on Facebook and Twitter and all social media make sure you say ST. PADDYS and not ST. PATTYS and we will all live happily ever after and IRISH EYES will be SMILING on you! Of course someone will say #WhoCares what the name is and just drink but hey Im here to educate the party universe lol Cheers and Party Responsibly My Friends! #PaddyNotPatty #StPaddys #StPatricksDay
