TOP 8 Name: Jacqueline Rennebohm Ministry: Social Services Branch: Corporate Services Position: Summer Student Hello, my name is Jacqueline Rennebohm and I am proud to be working for Social Services this summer on the Saskatchewan Disability Strategy. The team and I have traveled all across the province speaking to communities on the topic of disability. Saskatchewan is committed to making the province the best place for persons with visible and invisible disabilities to live. My video illustrates the reality that we may not always be able to see that someone may have a disability. This is why the strategy is committed to supporting everyone and creating solutions as diverse as the people we serve. As a person with a disability, I strive for excellence with all that Im involved in. Out of work, this ranges from representing Canada in two sports including the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games, and achieving academic honour role throughout university. At work, I aim to create a work culture that is inclusive and dynamic, so that we continue to be innovative and passionate in the work that we do for citizens of Saskatchewan. The government of Saskatchewan has identified that there are many individuals in this province who have outstanding skills and talents to contribute to society. The goal of the strategy is to give individuals the supports, tools, and resources they need to showcase these abilities.
