TOP OPM SINGERS RECORD I AM YOU SONG FOR RED CROSS! In the aftermath of Typhoon Yolanda last year, a group of artists decided to donate their time and talent in support of the Philippine Red Cross which does tremendous work in the field of relief and rehabilitation of disaster stricken areas. Ryan Cayabyab and Joey Reyes composed a song that embodies the Red Cross ideals of compassion, volunteerism, and service. At the height of the holiday season, the artists found time during their hectic schedules to record the song I Am You which is to be used by the Red Cross to generate awareness, recruit volunteers, and drum up support for the humanitarian work of the organization. Lets keep supporting the Philippine Red Cross. They have done great work in the Yolanda hit areas, such as: -559,111 families reached with food and non-food relief -6,081 households given core shelter (houses) -158,587 households with emergency shelter materials or repair materials -24 million litters of drinking water provided -192 classroom constructed or rehabilitated The work of the Red Cross goes beyond this and they continue to need our support, so join these artists in being one with humanity and one with the Philippine Red Cross.
