Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and large hailstones over the next several hours in the South Coast, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands and parts of the Hunter, Metropolitan, Illawarra, South West Slopes and Snowy Mountains districts. Locations which may be affected include Bowral, Batemans Bay, Orange, Bathurst, Katoomba and Goulburn.
