TOP TEN EPL PERFORMER THIS SEASON 10. David Silva (Man City) The usual level of brilliance from the pint sized Spaniard, assists aplenty and plenty more besides. Always capable of a defence splitting pass and if Man City win the title then Silva will have played a pivotal role. 9. Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal) Its no coincidence that Arsenals Premier League title push has faded since the Welshman suffered a thigh injury that has kept him out of action since Boxing Day. The fact that he features on this list despite that length of time out says just the level of form he displayed before injury. 8. Seamus Coleman (Everton) Republic of Ireland wing-back has been in inspired form this season and his attacking forays have greatly aided Evertons efforts in the final third and hes been calm and assured at the back to boot. 7. Steven Gerrard (Liverpool) The Anfield veteran is displaying his best form in years. Goals galore, regular assists have been a feature of a season that has seen Gerrard adopt a more withdrawn defensively minded role. 6. Wayne Rooney (Man United) For all Man Uniteds failings this term, and there have been a mountain of them, Rooney has been consistency personified. Without his efforts David Moyes may well have already been axed and the Old Trafford side would be in the bottom half of the table. 5. Sergio Aguero (Man City) Scoring goals for fun, the spearhead of a Man City attack that has run rampant for much of the campaign. His speedy return from injury could well make or break Manuel Pellegrinis Premier League title challenge. 4. Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool) For all Luis Suarezs plaudits one would be forgiven for forgetting just how amazing a season the England international has had. The 23 year old has racked up 20 goals in 21 Premier League starts, form that should lead to a prominent role in Roy Hodgsons 2014 World Cup finals squad. 3. Eden Hazard (Chelsea) Chelseas lack of a prolific striker has led to more than a fair share of the clubs goal-scoring burden has fallen on the Belgian and hes not been found wanting. 2. Yaya Toure (Man City) Ivory Coast powerhouse has brushed aside all before him this term. Marauding runs into opposition territory, breathtaking free-kicks and an assured brilliance have seen the experienced midfielder reach the best form of his illustrious career. 1. Luis Suarez (Liverpool) The Uruguayan is not only the Premier Leagues top scorer but also leads the assist making charts, all of this even after he missed the first five games of the season through suspension. Unstoppable.
