TOPIC: DO NOT WAIT TEXT: GENESIS 38 & II SAMUEL 11 & 12 - READ THE WHOLE SCRIPTURE. To wait means, to stay where one is or to delay action until a particular time or event. It has become an habbit to some careless christians, church workers, even some ministers of God to keep their unconfessed secret sins within them until they were exposed because of it. They thought all would be going well and that God would keep silent forever. Some Pastors waited until they impregnated their church choir or anybody else who is not their legitimate wives. Some also waited until they were caught stealing and embarrassed. Some waited until their secret sins got them into trouble with man and God. LEARN FROM THESE PEOPLE - Judah waited until 3 months after he slept with his sons wife Tamar thinking she was an harlot, he was exposed and disgraced (Genesis 386). - David the choiced and anointed king waited too long until Uriahs wife Bath-sheba gave birth, he kept his sins unconfessed within himself alone. He even foolishly declared his own judgement when God sent Nathan to him (2Samuel 11 & 12). What about me, what about you? Are you also living in such a secret sinful life thinking that all will be well? Are you an anointed man and woman of God but sin is still in your court. Note: Anointing doesnt separate anyone from sin, if not David wouldnt have done that useless things he did. Samson wouldnt have also got himself into trouble after all that power and divine anointing upon his head. Because God did not take all His gifts from you while you are still living and addicts to sin doesnt mean He overlook it when you didnt confess and forsake them. Do not wait until your secret sins gets you into trouble with man and God. Do not wait until that day when the Angel of God will call your name and tell you everything you are doing underneath now. Do not wait until God announces, declares, place His curse and give you final judgement before you change. Deal with it now, leave them now, dont keep waiting again. I pray that God of all grace will give anyone that is willing to take a step, the grace to do so in the name of Jesus. You are more than conqueror as I am seeing God supporting you.
