TOPIC: GOD PLEASERS READ: PSALM 119:9-16 TEXT: When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. (Proverb 16:7) RHEMA Noah resolved to please God before pleasing himself. Righteousness means living to please God before pleasing anyone. If you do anything to please me as a pastor before pleasing God, you are not wise. Dominion life begins with a decision to please God. The decision to please God is a definite decision to reign and fulfill divine purpose. Noah resolved in his heart to please God and God blessed and saved him with his family. Abraham resolved in his heart to please God and God blessed him and elongated his life. The Scripture says that if a man’s way pleases the Lord, He will make his enemy to be at peace with him (Proverb 16:7) The LORD owns the heaven and the earth. He gave the earth to man as a caretaker. No one owns anything outside God. America as a nation shows to a large extent, some pictures of heaven. Right there, the citizens own virtually nothing. The house is mortgaged or rented; the light, the gas, the cables etc. You enter some apartment furnished. All you need to do is to prove you are a worthy citizen or have the legitimate right to live in America. Secondly, be ready to meet the condition and finally be ready to sign the commitment. Fulfilling the policy and laws of the American government is like pleasing God. You accept Him as Lord and God and personal Saviour; you believe the word and you act in obedience and in faith to the word of God. Life will be filled with struggle, ups and down without connection and commitment to God. You must do all you can to please God before pleasing man. When you resolve to please God, God will step in to fight your battles. People who live to please God do not waste time to fight for themselves. Stop fighting to please yourself. God is able to fight your battle and defend your righteous course. God is the richest being that has ever lived and He doesn’t have poor children. God’s word is His wealth. And so many of us say, “I am poor”. The truth is that we are not poor; your poverty is your spiritual condition. When you have the word of God inside of your soul, it will help you to see God’s Riches and see God before seeing situations. Any man that is driven by situation does not have a future in God’s plan. We are saved to be driven by faith in God and His word. Peace. WISDOM WATCH = Noah was an intercessor. He was a man that prayed to God to save his generation. But their heart was hardened that the voice of the intercessors could not reach them. = Join hands in building the Nigerian nation. Defend her sovereignty and be ready to perform your civil covenant responsibility. PRAYERS = DECREE: Almighty God, thank You for saving my soul. From today, please, help me to live a life worthy of Your name, no matter the price, in Jesus name. = DECREE: By the grace of God, from today, I pledge to please You, O LORD my Salvation, before pleasing myself and man and as I do, honour Your name in my life daily, with signs and wonders. = DECREE: Precious Jesus, by Your special grace, qualify me as Your own child, to enjoy the blessings of the covenant in the land of my habitation; heal this land now, in Jesus name. = DECREE: O LORD God of Nigeria nation, heal this land of my birth, make it governable and habitable to Your own glory, in Jesus name.
