TOPIC OF THE DAY: { Galatians 5:1 - STAND fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. } I thank the Lord each day for my deliverance from my sins. There is nothing in this world that I desire more than my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. { Psalms 27:4 } The life I lived in the world before my conversion to Christ was nothing but anguish and turmoil. I wallowed in folly feasting on a daily diet of many sensual pleasures of the world. The god, and prince of this world had me chained and bound. { Ephesians 2:1,2,3 } I was not proud to be a servant of sin. I often hung my head in shame before the Lord and others daily. Just like the eyes of the Lord saw what I had done many people who knew me saw too. But I am no more a servant of sin. I am a servant of righteousness and I thank God for his love, mercy, and grace. His Son, Jesus Christ made me free indeed.{ John 8:32 } { Romans 6:11 - 18 } I was once weighted down and burdened with all of my past sins, but I came unto Jesus and he gave me rest for my soul. { Matthew 11:28,29,30 } { Hebrews 12:1,2 } He lifted the yoke of bondage off of my heart, and began carrying me upon his back. Thats why I can only see two footsteps in the sand as I walk in the newness of life through Jesus Christ.{ Romans 6:1 - 4 } No matter what I may me going through or suffering in this world I refuse to turn away from God.{ Proverbs 26:11 } Like Moses I choose to suffer with Gods people than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season.{ Hebrews 11:24,25 } This earthly life is temporary, but the life Jesus promised me is eternal. The wages of sin are cursed, and of the ground but the gift of God is eternal life in heaven. { Genesis 3:17 - 20 } { Romans 6:23 } So Lord I thank you again with my whole heart for giving me my freedom. I am more free than a bird because I have made my refuge by abiding under the shadow of your wings. And in only you I put my trust.{ Psalms 91:1 - 4 } I am not free to do what I want to do but I am free to live my life through Jesus Christ. Lord I seek your council. Lord I put all of my confidence in you and not in man. { Proverbs 3:26 } { Psalms 118:8 } It is good to know that we have freedom of choice, and Lord I choose you to be my everything.
