TOPIC: THE IMPORTANCE OF REMEMBRANCE (2) READ: DEUTERONOMY 16:1-12 TEXT: And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these statutes. (Deuteronomy 16:12) RHEMA You are as important as God has empowered and appointed you. One thing I do is to always remind myself that I am an appointee. If you are appointed by God, you cannot be disappointed by man. Therefore, your whole duty must be to please God. You must remember everyday, how you were when you came into the covenant. Remember that it is God’s love that brought you to this present level. God raised you, not to die after raising you. He is alive and expects you to trust Him to use you to raise others. If your mind is not focused, your remembrance capacity will be weakened. If your relationship with the Holy Spirit is weak, then your ability to remember and connect things will be zero. Some of the Biblical Fathers succeeded because they remembered what God promised them and did all they could to run their lives with such promises. Adam understood and kept the divine instruction. He succeeded as long as he kept the order. Noah succeeded when he remembered and pursued what God instructed him and promised him. The power of writing the holy Scripture was introduced by God through righteous men to enhance and enforce remembrance. People without remembrance are the most deadly agents in a TEAM system. To succeed as a church, every worker must have the capacity to remember things. To succeed as a home, as an organization, everyone connected in a TEAM, must be able to reflect and remember what their specific duties are and what their TEAM goals are. If you have people who can’t remember routines, patterns and instructions in your TEAM, it is a complete risk. Deal with it or overhaul the TEAM. Your concern must be to fulfil your TEAM goal. Disloyal people don’t remember things. If you don’t remember things, you are likely going to become disloyal, with time. When you are reminded of everything, you are more of a liability than an asset. YOU ARE THE ONE TO PROVE YOUR WORTH. Peace. WISDOM WATCH = Men without remembrance don’t evangelise. You are saved to help save others. God cannot use you without blessing you. = If you are not saved, you are not safe. No one will go to heaven without being saved. You must remember it, to do it. You must remember the right things if you want to be remembered for good. PRAYERS = DECREE: O LORD my God, by Your anointing in this anniversary month, please heal my memory and help me to remember the things that can help me in life. = DECREE: Almighty God, I need Your help. Please quicken my memory, raise a winning TEAM for me and make me a pace setter in the TEAM, in Jesus name. = DECREE: In this anniversary season, my LORD and my God, help me to remember things that will be profitable to my soul; place my remembrance in the heart of men, in Jesus name.
