TOPIC: THE SUPERNATURAL Reality READ: MICAH 6 1 Hear now what the Lord says: Arise, contend and plead your case before the mountains, and let the hills hear your voice. 2 Hear, O mountains, the Lord’s controversy, and you strong and enduring foundations of the earth, for the Lord has a controversy (a pleading contention) with His people, and He will [pleadingly] contend with Israel. 3 O My people, what have I done to you? And in what have I wearied you? Testify against Me [answer Me]! 4 For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house where you were bond servants, and I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam. 5 O My people, [earnestly] remember now what Balak king of Moab devised and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him; [remember what the Lord did for you] from [a]Shittim to Gilgal, that you may know the righteous and saving acts of the Lord. 6 With what shall I come before the Lord and bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? 7 Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? 8 He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, and to love kindness and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humbly with your God? 9 The voice of the Lord calls to the city [Jerusalem]—and it is sound wisdom to hear and fear Your name—Hear (heed) the rod and Him Who has appointed it. 10 Are there not still treasures gained by wickedness in the house of the wicked, and a scant measure [a false measure for grain] that is abominable and accursed? 11 Can I be pure [Myself, and acquit the man] with wicked scales and with a bag of deceitful weights? 12 For [the city’s] rich men are full of violence; her inhabitants have spoken lies and their tongues are deceitful in their mouths. 13 Therefore I have also smitten you with a deadly wound and made you sick, laying you desolate, waste, and deserted because of your sins. 14 You shall eat but not be satisfied, and your emptiness and hunger shall remain in you; you shall carry away [goods and those you love] but fail to save them, and those you do deliver I will give to the sword. 15 You shall sow but not reap; you shall tread olives but not anoint yourselves with oil, and [you shall extract juice from] the grapes but not drink the wine. 16 For the statutes of [idolatrous] Omri you have kept, and all the works of the house of [wicked] Ahab, and you walk in their counsels. Therefore I will make you a desolation and an astonishment and your [city’s] inhabitants a hissing, and you shall bear the reproach and scorn of My people. Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: (Matthew 3:7-8) RHEMA One day, the Holy Ghost spoke by me thus, “The only answer to demonic presence is divine presence” The enemy could be present for thousands of years but the day the LORD shows up, he will withdraw. Strangers are never comfortable where they are not received. Enemies are strangers and can only reign where they are tolerated. Ebola is an unwanted enemy. Reject it and refuse it. Micah 6 is an exposition of God’s heartfelt desire to have the suffering and afflicted Jews restored to His covenant of peace and blessings. Your ability by labour can give you every good thing of life except peace. Peace is a product of divine covenant. Pursue It. No human ability can give peace and no amount of prosperity can give a man peace. Only a stable and committed covenant relationship with God can give peace. Peace has immeasurable economic value. “Hear ye, O mountains, the LORD’S controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth: for the LORD hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel.He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” (Micah 6:2,8). The Jews with their lips remain God’s people, but by their actions and attitudes remain God’s enemies. Several punishments and judgement could not shift or alter their position. One pain in life is enough to reposition the mind of a wise person who wants to succeed. A natural mind cannot understand the things of the spirit. Our conscience must be renewed and regenerated to be able to walk and work with God. We must be able to desire the amazing wonderful life of father Noah, father Abraham and David. They recognised the voice of God and disciplined themselves to follow it against all natural odds. God wants us to follow Him by His word. This is the only way we can manifest the power in His word. Bible says, “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.” (John 15:1-2). This demands that we must know God, believe Him, know His word, believe the word, do the word and continue in the word. The Spirit in the word of God is the Spirit of God. Peace Wisdom Watch = This month, the mighty power of God shall break every yoke of stagnation. God shall move you to the next phase of your destiny. Men shall celebrate you. = This month, expect sudden promotion: spiritually, financially and materially. = This month, by the grace of God, I see you reign and rule over any power or force that has reigned and ruled over you, including poverty, evil, witchcraft and Ebola. PRAYERS = Rise up, thank and worship God for His marvelous works, love and grace; for the miracles of the last month’s convention and the new month. = DECREE: Almighty God, I have learned from my past sins, pains and problems; I want to live and experience a new life in Christ Jesus, please help me out, in Jesus’ name. = This month, by the redemptive blood of Jesus, I shall rule and reign over the power that has ruled over my life against the will of God. = DECREE: This is my month of supernatural manifestation and uncommon performance in my God given assignment, in Jesus’ name.
