TORONTO, THE... UNBELIEVABLE! What impresses Americans most about Canada? Not our health care system - they apparently prefer being sick AND broke. Not the fact that so many of their screen and TV idols are actually Canadian - they seem to feel theyve Americanized most of them. And its clearly not our winters! But according to American comic, Lewis Black (no relation to Arthur OR Conrad), whats beginning to impress Americans about Canada is our desire to match them clown for clown in the field of politics. And for the first time EVER, theyll be following the results next month of Torontos municipal election with almost as much interest as the locals. So, after all those years we laughed at Reagan and Bush and a host of other cartoon characters, the chickens are finally coming home to roost. (I can hear the clucking and the cackling even now!)
