TOTAL DEPRAVITY OF MAN Romans 3:10-11 (NIV) "As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God" John 3:19-20 (niv) "This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed" Made Alive in Christ "As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, ade us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved" - Ephesians 2:1-5 (NIV) Man is totally incapable of coming to God being dead in his sins. Adam and Eve were warned that they will "die" if they eat of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil and therefore were "dead" spiritually after they ate of it. They hid from God when they ate the fruit. God has been looking for man since then. Man is totally depraved and it takes the pure grace of God, grace being God giving man what he does not deserve, so that man can be made alive spiritually. Are you you spiritually alive now or still spiritually dead and walking like zombies? God is giving us all the chances while He may still be found! Come to Jesus, repent of your sins and received His gift of salvation. When He comes for the second time, He will come as a Judge and King. Today is the day of salvation.
