TOTM!! Thankful for another day of life and love! Hit the scales this morning at 225 lbs., down from 227, I guess that its more difficult to lose weight during the winter (yes, despite what the season says, its still winter in the DMV!) months than summer, oh well, keep pushing and its still better than the 248 lbs which I was weighing at this time last year! :-) My friend Marc posted yesterday about being self and not putting on airs! Im a true advocate in being self, I dont understand why folks lie, I dont understand why they pretend to be what they arent, it has to be troublesome to carry an anvil around your neck each day of your being or put on a different face for each crowd. Now this is not to say to act like a total idiot or not to garner the best that life has to offer, but, inside of us all, the Supreme placed a root of character, within this character, the main vein remains while we sprout mini vessels during the walk of life. This is why we become educated beyond what we are taught in our immediate circles, this is why we grow to love that special one, this is why we reason or agree to disagree, this is why we dont smack the hell out of folks when they do us in a wrongful manner, yet, the root remains and you know what that root is? For the vast majority, the root of it all is LOVE!! This is why we forgive, this is why we do things for those who dont give a flying pluck about us, this is why we are emotional about people weve never met when they are going through hard times, this is why we care!! Thanks Brother Marc for your words yesterday, they truly hit home for me!! Love and Light on this Wednesday, KEP.
