TOTTENHAM ARE COMPETING WITH SUNDERLAND FOR FREE AGENT JONAS, Tottenham are competing with Sunderland for released Valencia striker Jonas. The Daily Star says the 30-year-old is free to sign for Spurs following his release from Valencia last month. Jonas is also thought to be in talks with Portuguese giants Benfica over a switch to Lisbon. Tottenham are light in attack, with Mauricio Pochettino having just Emmanuel Adebayor , Roberto Soldado and Harry Kane at his disposal. And according to reports today, the Spurs boss is thought to be considering bringing the player to north London.
