TOUCAN AT THE BEACH! Earlier this week one of our long term residents, Toucan was taken on a very special outing to the beach! Excursions like this are a fantastic way of giving the animals in our care some extra R & R away from the sometimes stressful shelter life. One of our fabulous volunteers, Kirsty, took Toucan to the beach to help him cool off during the warmer weather we have been experiencing. By all reports from Kirsty, Toucan absolutely LOVED being at the beach and splashing in the water plus she thinks he would make an excellent running partner as he already knows basic training and walks nicely on a lead! At just four years old, Toucan is a pretty easy going guy who loves being around people, having cuddles and just chilling out!
