TOUR BLOG ( THE SUMMARY ) Dear All, Well that`s it, it`s all over, the Classic Line Up tour has ended and the NBZ gigs for 2014 have finished. It`s been quite a year, which started with a low key gig back in January at The Half Moon in Putney, through a great tour with The Stranglers, a few festival appearances, a mini tour of Scotland, a few forays into Europe and then of course the Autumn tour which started in Chichester on September 24th and finished in Cambridge on Thursday night. There have been so many great moments I could not mention them all, but of course my good friend and friend of the band Chris Hennis has put together his fantastic film of the tour which will last as an enduring memento of some great shows ( link below ) I`m sure many of you have enjoyed seeing the band live over the year and I have certainly enjoyed their company and the numerous shows I have driven the band to over the year. Now NBZ take a well earned rest, 2015 will as I understand be a reasonably low key year for live performances, although Dennis and Mark will be doing a number of duo shows ( Their album is now finished ) and of course we have the From the Jam mini tour in January which we are all looking forward to, doubtless there will be festival appearances, then who knows what will happen next Autumn, it`s never that quiet in world of Nine Below Zero. For me it`s more work with other bands but it`s never as enjoyable as being in the NBZ family. Lastly I would like to wish Dennis, Mark, Brian, Mickey and of course all their families, friends, all of you I have had the pleasure of meeting on the road over the last year and all NBZ fans and very happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.
