TOday behold the Son ,in Mat 10:37-39 JESUS said "He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross and followeth me is not worthy of me.He that findeth his life shall lose it and he that looseth his life for my sake shall find it..." yesterday i shared with you about salvation that comes only by JESUS becoming LORD of your life,not, friend, brother, uncle, good leader but LORD. Some folks will do whatever their parents ,brothers, sisters ,children or friends may demand but never what God demands. Imagine if you are a parent then your child comes and present to you invoices for school fees,u will do everything to get that money because of your love for the kid, just imagine how much you pump out on your kids, mother, sister,wife, husband, and girlfriend. What about on yourself, on perfumes, new suites, on your hair, on nails? COMPARE THAT WITH WHAT YOU GIVE IN CHURCH AND YOU DONT NEED ME TO TELL YOU WHICH ONE OR WHO YOU LOVE MOST. Its so sad that many have never been taught about The Lordship of JESUS. IF YOU LOVE YOUR MOTHER OR FATHER MORE THAN JESUS then you have no place in him. Ooh friend thats a hard statement but thats exactly what JESUS said. Some folks miss church and say, "..i had a visitor." kkkkk i wish they knew the God they claim to serve. I was talking one day with some folks then i said, "its wise to buy a man of God who labours in ministry a car before you buy yourself or your mother one" the folks laughed big time. I jus found tears coming out of my eyes as i talked to them about JESUS,Even though they hd been christians,they had not understood the gospel. One time i asked myself " Is God really number 1 in my life?" i weighed my actions and discovered that at the time my education was more important than God, i saw my body was more important than God, my relationships were more important then i made a committment to have God be number 1 in my life. That means he has become my priority in life. I can do anything for the gospel,i am sold out to God. I can go hungry, i can suffer shame, i can get so low ,for the GOSPEL,i can get so big for the gospel. SOMEBODY IS THINKING ,NO JESUS suffered for us so we dont have to suffer. Friend there is a difference on suffering as a result of failure and suffering for the Gospel. Read 1 Corinthians 11:21-30, before you get to the common scripture in Philipians 4:13 "i can do all things through Christ.." i want you to read vs 11 and 12 first then go to vs 13. I can preach all day, i can go to the villages in the dark, i can go out in the cold, i can preach in the heat of the day, i can do all things through CHRIST.This is what Paul meant. Realise today that God wants your all and nothing but the best of you. If you are yet to marry before you pay a bride price of $7000 make sure you give God an offering greater than $7000 ,if you can save for a woman why not save for God. If you love God more why do you let his house go without when you have in abundance. Its time you demonstrate your love to the Lord.Begin by giving these 1) Attention to his word 2) Fellowship with him 3) Preaching his word 4) Give your Time to his work 5) your money or labour .
