TQRA Family, I am announcing that I will be stepping down as TQRA President. I have been involved with the TQRA behind the scenes for 8 years, President for 3 years and a racer and proud supporter since 2003. I love our TQRA family and will continue to offer my help during the 2015 Series. My work schedule has become very demanding but most importantly, with our new addition Tavis, my focus and attention needs to be on my family. I am proud of the advancements TQRA has made and will continue to make in the race community. We have put on record setting events, added electronic scoring, and our rider base continues to increase. We have been able to do this because of our amazing TQRA family. TQRA will continue to support the Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri riders by partnering with tracks and events centrally located – NOT by partnering with other race organizations, changing our values, or core structure. The next appointed President will hold the same values my predecessors and I have used to grow the series. I encourage everyone to rely on information being published on TQRA or the TQRA facebook page. Other sources of information may be unreliable, without merit and contain NON factual information. Thank you to all of our members for their support and all of our volunteers that have kept the TQRA going for all these years! I look forward to getting my knee repaired and coming out to be a racer with our TQRA family and friends.
