This can help train our men to become mechanics and break the cycle of poverty and dependency among our circle of friends and at the same time start a profitable chain of business that can make money for everyone to benefit. If interested to join this venture, please let me know. There is a big market for car repair in Cebu because most cars are old, brought to the country in pieces and assembled, then run on bumpy streets. There are not enough good mechanics in Cebu. The good ones leave and work in the Middle East, Europe, or North America. It is hard to get a reputable, fair, and competent mechanic around. Our students must sign a waiver that they will not leave the country for ten years or pay us a premium for our training. The solution to poverty is helping people help themselves where they are.
