TRAFFIC ADVISORY Hazard tree removal on U.S. 26 in Rhododendron Flaggers will direct traffic Monday through Thursday until the end of May ODOT crews will remove hazardous tree limbs that are hanging over U.S. 26 (Mt. Hood Highway) and trees that are in danger of falling into the road along a one mile section in Rhododendron. Removing the hazardous trees and limbs requires flaggers to stop all traffic on U.S. 26 for up-to 15 minutes. Work will take place Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, May 12 through Thursday, May 29. Work will not take place on the weekends or on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26. The trees and limbs hanging over U.S. 26 are dead or broken and could currently fall into the roadway. Crews will only remove the limbs and trees at risk for falling. People biking, walking or driving through the area should expect delays. ODOT
