TRAFFIC ADVISORY ISSUED FOR TRIATHLON: The North Wildwood Police Department has issued a traffic advisory for the bicycle portion of the Tri the Wildwoods Triathlon being held in the city streets this morning at 6:30 AM. The race will start at 13th and JFK Boulevard and proceed to 2nd Avenue. West on 2nd Avenue to Surf Avenue, North on Surf Avenue to 1st Avenue and then West on 1st Avenue to Central Avenue. The course continues North on Central Avenue to Spruce Avenue and the West on Spruce Avenue to Anglesea Drive. The racers continue on Anglesea Drive to Rt #147. The racers turn right onto Rt #147 and follow to South Caroline Ave (Harbor Furniture). There will be signage and detours set up along the route to assist motorists. The foot race and swimming portions of the triathlon will be held on the beach and boardwalk and will not interfere with pedestrian or vehicular traffic.
