TRAFFIC ALERT from 35Express :Crews will begin placing beams for the expanded Valwood Parkway bridge tonight. While this work is being performed, the following closures will be in place from 9 p.m., tonight through 6 a.m., the morning of Friday, May 9: · Closure of the northbound I-35E exit ramp to Valwood Parkway. Traffic will exit at Valley View Lane and take the frontage road to access Valwood Parkway. ·The left lane of the northbound frontage road just south of Valwood Parkway will be closed. One lane will remain open for through traffic. These closures are needed for work related to the 35Express project, an expansion of I-35E between US Highway 380 in Denton County and I-635 in Dallas County. All closures are subject to weather conditions and will be postponed, if necessary.
