TRAGEDY - OFFICIAL VIDEO RELEASE Everythings messed up, no way to fix it...life goes on. I wrote this song when my dear friend, Chris Landry, was tragically killed in a car accident in 2012. Since that time, the song has gained an even deeper meaning. The past few years of my life have been filled with loss – many to death, some to choices that no longer include me. Through it all, I have made my own choices – to continue to love, to continue to pour good into the world, to continue to hope. Love is not a feeling, it is a verb and requires action. Sometimes love means letting go, no matter how much you want to hang on. People who value you will always find their way back. The holidays are difficult for many people and I am no exception. This was my first Christmas without my grandmother, who I miss terribly. It was also my first Christmas without my closest friend - the person who I gave my deepest self to. I miss him, too. Tragedy hits us all and grief is heightened at this time of year. This song goes out to all of you who have lost someone you love. Wishing you peace and light in the new year.
