TRAIL UPDATE: Red Mountain Town Loop should be open by this weekend. Corkscrew is going well and county crews have made it past the second water crossing about 1/2 way into the basin. Crews are working from both sides on Engineer, but dont expect to get it fully open for a few more weeks. Cinnamon is open to American Basin on the Lake City side, but equipment failure is delaying progress until after the weekend. Animas Forks and Yankee Boy are also open for the weekend. Expect 6 - 8 ft snow banks past the Atlas Mill on Yankee Boy. Spectacular!
