TRAINEESHIP – MARINE Daltug Pty Ltd is the operator of Half Tide Marine Pty Ltd’s Tugboats and Lineboat which service Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal, 40 kilometres south of Mackay. Daltug has the following vacancies which will commence mid January 2014: TRAINEESHIP – MARINE Master Class 5 & M.E.D. 3 (4 Positions – Min. 2 years) The traineeships will involve working as crew on the tugs and lineboat. Technical training is provided on the job and block training sessions conducted on site by the Barrier Reef Institute of TAFE. Trainees will be expected to maintain sound academic progress throughout their course modules. The nature of the work necessitates working shiftwork.
