There has been some reports on the Daily Mail which claim Everton star Marouane Fellaini wants £100,000-a-week to join the Gunners this coming window. With Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain on the verge of joining in a £22million move, the Gunners will now focus on strengthening their midfield. Fellaini has emerged as a strong candidate in Arsene Wenger’s search for a midfielder, but the huge cost of the move has placed question marks over the deal. The 25-year-old, who currently earns in the region of £75,000-per-week at Everton, wants a hefty increase on his current weekly wage. From Arsenal’s current squad, only Theo Walcott and Lukas Podolski are in the proximity of earning £100,000-per-week.
