The design brief allows each participant to choose a location in any city while the site boundary and shape remain the same. The brief earlier directed you to follow local byelaws for setbacks and other requirements. The organizers realize this is proving to be difficult for some participants due to unavailability of information in some locations. Therefore in order to assist the students in focusing on the design the organizers provide the following options in regards to setbacks. Participants may choose any of the options below. Option 1. Assume local bye laws for setbacks if you already have found them and prefer to work with them. Option 2. Use the setbacks provided below Front setback - 9m Side setbacks - 3m Rear setback. - 6m
