TRAPPISTs IN THE ADMINISTRATION I dont think that it would be amiss to comment on the deafening silence from I dont care where we build the school. When will we hear from the leader by way of explanation of this comment . I have commented in another piece that Martin is up there with HRH The Duke of Edinburgh and Jeremy Clarkson in the competition for unfortunate remarks in public. So let me proffer this old piece of advice do not put your mouth in motion untill your brain has been engaged When is Martin going to publish the mysterious email that only he knows about ? Will he publish the email in which he was critical of Joyce White at the same time ? Is he now convinced that he really should not be contributing( ?) to social media sites and the press. Here are some of his comments adressed to Councillor. Black if you are to have any credibility at all you would publish in full the content of the letter I wrote to the Chief Executive about your treatment of Councillor McColl Councillor McColl says he is at a loss to explain the contents of the email or even what Councillor Rooney is referring to in his posts he also states that Ms White denied any knowledge of the email, and Martin is not returning his calls , Maybe the power has been cut off in the bunker. For my part I know absolutely nothing about this email Martin says that he wrote it he certainly did not copy it to me ,like the 1,000 jobs it could be a figment of his imagination. This man in his attempt to damage me with his unsubstantiated allegations is causing immense reputational damage to this Council The question is now being asked locally why the nefarious activities of the leader are not being subjected to the level of scrutiny that is exercised in relation to the public comments of Councillors who are not members of the administration. Outside agencies are now looking at his single handed wordy contributions to social media sites and asking questions like. On a day-to-day basis, how is Councillor Rooneys approach to business / interaction with people? It is obvious from this question that people outside the confines of the West Dunbartonshire political community can see the irrationality of Martins behaviour We feel that his addiction to cutenpaste spin and general massaging of facts has now caused a condition best described as a cranial flatulation or brainfart and our best wishes go to Martin for a speedy revovery.
