TRARALGON NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH/SAFER COMMUNITY GROUP CRIME REPORT FOR PERIOD 01/11/13 TO 30/11/13 ROBBERY - 1 for December (Nil for November) - One offender has been charged with robbery during December. ASSAULT - 36 for December (23 for November) - Twenty eight offenders have been charged with assault related offences during December. A number of them will face multiple charges as a result of different incidents on different days. Police are investigating an assault by four males on a lone male in Kay St on 3rd December. ARSON - 1 for December (1 for November) - One offender has been charged with criminal damage by fire during December. PROPERTY DAMAGE - 37 for December (24 for November) - Fourteen offenders have been charged with property damage offences during December with three facing multiple charges. On 15th and 19th December a number of vehicles sustained damage to panels whilst parked in an underground car park in Grey St. BURGLARY - 26 for December (17 for November) - Four offenders have been charged with burglary during December with one facing multiple charges in relation to a series of burglaries in the Hazelwood North area. Overnight 29th December a number of storage units in a yard in Traralgon were entered with a property stolen from them. THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE - 54 for December (18 for November) - Four offenders have been charged with theft from motor vehicle during December. Two will face forty charges as well as three counts of attempted theft from motor vehicle after a spate of thefts throughout Traralgon. There were also fifteen attempted thefts from motor vehicle reported to police. THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE - 4 for December (2 for November) - One of the vehicles stolen during December has been recovered. At the time of publication the outstanding vehicles are: PUN084 1996 Holden sedan white stolen 16/12/134 from Saunders Cres. XEZ446 2001 Ford Ute red stolen 19/12/13 from Princes Hwy. SRZ777 2003 Nissan Ute white stolen 29/12/13 from Franklin St. THEFT - 24 for December (12 for November) - Six offenders have been charged wit theft during December. Two of the offenders are those who have been charged with the multiple thefts from motor vehicles. Eight of the thefts involved garden ornaments such as statues or ornaments being stolen. Some are of the concrete variety and would have required more than one person to carry.
