TRAVEL ADVISORY ROAD CLOSURE OSWEGO STREET ROAD & SIDEWALK RECONSTRUCTION WORK City of Utica, Oneida County The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) Utica Regional Office has issued the following traveler advisory for motorists in the City of Utica, Oneida County: On Monday, October 20, 2014 from 7:00AM until 4:00PM, Oswego Street between Lincoln Ave and Lenox Ave will be closed to traffic due to road and sidewalk reconstruction work. Signed detours will be utilized to advise motorists of the street closure and direct traffic to the appropriate detour routes. Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver’s license.
