TRAVEL BACK FROM MARRAKECH Thanks to clever decision to have Marrakech and Paul Rickard races in one week all the teams are in difficult situation at the moment. HONDA have to prepare a new car for Gabriele, and ROAL for Tom Coronel. I really hope both can do it. So, after a difficult weekend and a lot of nights spent on the circuit we have to load our trucks very fast and start to Tanger ferry terminal just after the race. Most of the teams left the circuit from midnight to 2 a.m. LADA Sport LUKOIL trucks were ready at 1 a.m. and we were on the road at 2 a.m. At 11 a.m. we arrived to a meeting point where joined our friends from HONDA, ROAL and ALL-Inc. After we arrived to the terminal the bad thing happend. Police dog found a nelegal insde our truck #1. During our stop for coffe brake approximately 150 km from Tanger they broke 2 locks of underdeck boxes and got inside. THANK YOU, DOG - good job! Later nelegals attacked us several times, trying to get inside all the trucks. Not a funny thing. So we parked the trucks close to each other and have to watch around. We had to stay on this unsafe parking for 6 hours. I personally pushed out 2 persons from ROAL truck and 5 from ours. For sure we need some guns next time. I had to use a carbon sword (made from front splitter))) - MAD MAX in action ))))) What was inside the customs? Its not possible to explain. Its not possible to understand how they work and for sure without help from Ralf and his friends from Meyr&Meyr we cant do it. THE QUESTION! DO WE NEED THIS RACE? My opinion - NO!!! During 4 years no changes, no improving and no help from FIA or Eurosport or Moroccan Government. Teams have to survive themselves. Correct me if Im wrong, but our job is to prepare race cars.
