TREM Wisdom fo® the day Act On What You Hear "But be ye doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." James 1:22 I feel constrained even as we start the second half of the year to continue to challenge you to not just put your ears down, but to act on what you hear. Beloved, there are many voices that are speaking in our world today; but the secret of good success is the ability to hear the voice of God, and distill it in the midst of the noise in the world and act on it. The woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:25 not only heard about Jesus but she also acted on what she heard. She heard He heals the sick; she came near, saw the crowd, knew that she could not get His attention easily; found a strategy to act on what she heard. She came in and press behind and touched his garment because she said If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. When she did, the fountain of her blood dried up and she felt in her body that she was healed of the plague. Remember what I said earlier that at every point in time, even when the hour is dark, God is still speaking and you need to listen to know what he is saying. What He is saying should be your focus and not what the devil is doing. The scripture must be fulfilled so it will get darker in the world, but God does not expect us to be confused or caught unguarded. God wants to speak into your future and give you clues ahead of the challenge. Believe God, I believe He never gave His word to us as a religious cliché or a tradition. He gave it to us, so you can have something tangible for a focus. Yes things may be difficult in the world but it is all working for His greater glory. He has assured us that this is the year of overcomers, but the question is what are you doing with what you have heard. The woman said I have heard that Jesus raises the dead and what she heard gave her energy, spiritual energy and she arose and worked on what she heard. I challenge you today to rise up in the power of the truth and the word you have received and no power will be able to stop you.
