TRI-SHARK TRI/DU RACE WEEK REMINDERS: • Packet pick up will take place at Comlara Park at the white registration tent located next to the transition area/beach house from 4-7 pm on Friday and again from 6-7:30 am on race day. Optional overnight racking of bikes is available beginning at 4 pm on Friday. • NEW: Practice swim from 5:30 to 7 pm on the swim course. Swim is open to all registered participants. Lifeguards will be present. • All participants must show a photo ID at packet pick up per USA Triathlon rules. USAT annual members must also show their USAT membership card. • Helmets are required for the bike portion of the event. • Wetsuit strippers will be on hand at the swim exit. This is an optional service. • Participants who are new to open water swimming or particularly nervous about the swim may request a pink swim cap at packet pick up. This indicates to the lifeguards and kayakers that you are a new open water swimmer. You will still start in your regular swim wave if you are wearing a pink cap. A more detailed list of race week rules and reminders was emailed to all registered participants on Monday afternoon, May 26.
